Barden's Great Aussie Adventure 2015
We stayed out most of the day to avoid all the flies as well as there was plenty to fill our day with sightseeing. We started looking at the Grandstand, Shellhouse, Island Rock, Natural Bridge, Eagle Gorge, Pot Alley. They are all similar giving views over the cliffs but they all look amazing and have a uniqueness about them.
Lunch was in the park and we were enjoying the nice weather knowing Perth is having some miserable weather lately.
We then went to Blue Hole snorkelling area. It was low tide so I walked around but didn't see anything interesting except one crab so I didn’t snorkel. It is meant to be a good spot though probably only at high tide though.
The boys had a good play on the beach and then we did the rainbow valley loop walk which links up with mushroom rock. It leads around the cliff with really nice scenery then drops down to the water level where you can see the force of the strong waves in the area crashing through narrow holes in the rocks.
Upon returning to camp we find the flies are much better today. They are still around but no where near as many as yesterday.
