It was a beautiful summer's day today with it hitting 30 degrees so we went to Whiteman Park for lunch and so the kids could have a play. We then spent the afternoon in the heated spa for the first time this week.

Matt & I had a day to ourselves today with Grandma looking after the boys. We went to Perth Mint where no photography is allowed inside hence there are not many photos of the experience. It was very good though, taking the guided tour and watching a 6kg bar being formed. The pots they use to melt the gold have to be replaced every 2 weeks and cost $120 each. They melt these pots down after the 2 weeks so that they can retrieve the gold which has been embedded...

Mum, myself, Zach and Liam went to the shops and then took a bus ride through town meeting Matt at Kim & Nigel's house where he was fixing the car. Matt was replacing the transfer case chain which has needed to be done since Darwin but for a range of reasons couldn’t be done until now. Today is Father's Day and after the boys gave their Dad a handmade card and a little present we got ready to spend the day at the park. We joined Nathan & Lacey along with Lacey's Aunty & Uncle and their kids Jackson and McKenna at Kings Park. It was a warm, sunny day spent with food, ball games, races, bike rides and the playground. Today was the perfect day to enjoy the hotel and that's exactly what we did. The weather was horrible being very windy and raining outside so we stayed indoors and had some chill out time.
