Barden's Great Aussie Adventure 2015
It was only a short drive south to Yardie Creek this morning where we started with the walk. The first half is on a flat pathway alongside the gorge. The second half continues over natural rock up with views over the gorge. The water was quite shallow in a lot of the creek and clear enough to see schools of fish and a ray.
After the walk and lunch we went to the creek mouth and had a fish. With no hook ups we spent some time around the shallow water for the boys to have a play.
We returned to camp and spent a few hours relaxing there before going to our camp beach. We saw whales breaching out the back of the waves and Zach and Liam had a great time playing with the ball. In the afternoon the boys helped make the pizza dough for dinner.
