Woken up around 6am by a plane landing and had to wait until 8am to have a coffee. It was freezing outside and had to wear multiple layers to keep warm. Moruya is well known for its Saturday markets and so after breakfast Nick dropped Katharine and me off to explore them while he went off to refill our gas bottles. There was a fantastic chilli stall selling chilli wine, which tasted great, especially with dark chocolate! We spent about 45 minutes wondering around (apparently it was only a small market as the weather had kept people away) and then we met Nick and the others and went to get warm pj's for Nick and gloves for the kids. We called in to Woollies and bought veggies to make soup for lunch and as we arrived back at the camp Doris and Joerg appeared with some friends that they are staying with in Narooma. We sat and had a coffee and a chat and by the time they left it was too late to make soup. We ate crackers instead and then got in the car and explored the coast south of us. We drove out to Congo and Bingi but there was very little there so we carried on to Tuross Heads. The drive in to Tuross is very pretty with lakes on both sides and the ocean at the end. We stopped by One Tree Beach and walked to the look out but decided to head home and walk our beach instead. Once home we had a couple of hours to relax with the papers. I made soup and the kids climbed trees and built a campfire from lots of little sticks they'd found. Nick let them light it and roast a few marshmallows but the fire didn't last very long. The camp caretaker paid us a visit and explained a mass group had just arrived to celebrate a 21st - any problems and we were to call the police!! Bodes well and so before going for a walk we had to put everything away. We had a lovely walk along the beach - much calmer tonight and no surfers in the water. Once home we had soup (which I must say was delicious!), showers and watched a movie before bed. No misbehaving partygoers so far!
