There was a lot of rain over night and everyone slept in until 830 ish as there wasn't much point in getting up. By the time we had had breakfast and got organised it was too late to go to the library as it was only open until 12 so we worked in the van for a few hours and were all very happy when we finished! In the afternoon we went for a drive out to Soldiers Point and on the way home Nick dropped Katharine and I in town so that we could check out the country music festival that was on for the long weekend. Market stalls lined the foreshore but most of them were food and coffee stalls with the odd bit of clothing. Katharine stopped for some fairy floss and the stall owner told us that a large number of stalls hadn't shown because of the rain. It only took us ten minutes to look around but we then had a lovely walk home along the bay. Matty, Jonny and Anna spent the evening playing with the next-door neighbour, Katharine watched a film with Nick and I spent the evening working. It rained on and off all day and the boys' bed end of the caravan was taking the brunt of it all. By the time they went to bed water was beginning to soak through the canvas and drip along the metal bar frame!
