After leaving Jodhpur for Jaisalmer we decided to call at the Meherangarh otherwise known as the Majestic Fort. Wondered around with Erin as she seemed to be the only one who was as interested as me. However it wqas pretty cool as it had some rather large weapons (this is in no way a referral to the weird looking guy above & I don't mean me!). Once we'd spent like what seemed three weeks looking around the Fort we were back on the crazy bus. To make the journey pass more quickly I got myself on the back seat managed to force my legs through onto the chair in front where Erin and Sarah were sitting and fell asleep. The sleep however was a little deprived as those two couldn't resist tickling my bloody feet all the way there! Finally arrived at the Hotel which seemed very nice even though it was in the centre of a replica Beirut! Also it had a rooftop restaurant with a late night bar! At 19.00 decided to go use the internet which was a few blocks away, however 45mins in there proved useless and so met up with everyone else and wondered up into the mental town! We ate at a decent place called Trio and would you believe it had Indian food! Also had a few nice and warm Kingfishers. Once back at the hotel we carried on the drinking and by 03.00am I was rather worse for wear. Steph and Crystal noticing this thought they would use it to their advantage and bet me 1000rps that I wouldn't be up for the 10.00am meet in the morning. The bet later changed to 500rps and I was there fresh as a daisy at 09.45am in reception. Me, Damien, Steph, Dia and Sharon were heading into town for a massage. Only things I've heard about massages are from Mr Jones (senior) and to be honest they sound pretty good-but surely there wouldn't be Eastern Europeans working in the massage parlours here in India? Of course they weren't instead it was the guy you see above with a rather big tash! b***** that I thought but as Damien volunteered to go first and the girls had to wait until 16.00pm for the lady to come and do them I thought i'd give it a shot! Left Damien with him and returned after an hour only to find Damien face down naked! I crapped myself and run out to tell the girls who assured me it was perfectly natural. However they weren't willing to let me stay while they had theirs!!! Damien came out and totally bigged the guy up. So i went in stripped off and had a great massage and although his hands were somewhat rough he was anybody I wanted him to be when I closed my eyes! Steph was after me and asked me to wait with her until the woman came as she didn't feel all too safe alone with the man with BIG hands! The lady came later so I sat in the foyer drinking tea with BIG hand man and the ladies husband. Afterwards me and Steph wondered back to the hotel only for it to start hammering it down! We were absolutley drenched, the floods started also so we had to strageically walk along shop fronts! Steph assured me she knew the way back so I followed her lead only to end up in probably the maddest housing estate in Jaisalmer-people offering us lambs kids allovert and the little b*****s even started throwing popcorn at us. Finally made it back to the hotel only for the power in the entire area to die! So we all had a nice romantic dinner by candlelight and slept in the foyer on level one! Jaisalmer a place you only want to visit the once! Mike
