Once again a gloriously calm, warm day. The temperature is high 20's. The sea is calm and a wonderful blue with an occasional whitecap. No breeze. I haven't seen any sea life since the Straits of Magellan. Some people have seen seals, whales and flying fish, but not me.
Men still marginally ahead in BoS. It was extremely hot playing quoits, and I reverted to form by losing in the first round.
Captain's cocktail party for the full world cruisers tonight and of course, being hot, it's formal night too. As always, we managed to get plenty of the free drinks down our necks. After dinner, we took a few photos by the Terrace Pool, then Rob went to bed as he has a stinking cold. The 21:30 quiz was Music Through the Decades and we scored (well Linda did) 53/55. That's bottle 19 under our belts and a lot of irked looking passengers! We decided against the Syndicate Quiz today. The others went to bed, but Barbara and I stood and stared at the sea and stars in the beautiful warm evening for a while. The clocks go back again tonight to GMT -7. It's going to be horrible when we start to unwind the hours.
