Woke up late to a bright, warm, sunny day. After breakfast and a mile, I did my photos and web page before joining Barbara on deck 7 for reading and crosswording. The weather got windier and cloudier as the morning progressed.

Men lost the BoS by 5 points. Scoring is 10 points for a win and 5 for a steal. Quoits was a windy affair. I lost, of course. Little bit of rain a n's some dark clouds around in the afternoon, when we resumed our Prom Deck vigil.

Lost deck quoits. I lost IQ by one point. When I got back to my cabin, the voicemail light was flashing on my phone. It was Reception calling to ask me to call another cabin on a 'personal matter'! I don't know anyone on Lido Deck. I rang the cabin and it was the brother-in-law of a woman I know in Milton Keynes. She knew I was on the cruise and told her sister. I'm not sure how she knows I'm here, but still. I'm meeting the two of them in Anderson's on Tuesday.

Linda and Norman celebrated their birthdays today by treating us all to dinner in the Beach House. Norman's birthday is in a couple of days and Linda's a few days after that, but they had a joint do so we could all eat al fresco.

Only Barbara, Linda and I did the Syndicate Quiz. It turned out that a Rob and Phil were going to stay and drink in the Pennant Bar, but I missed that info, otherwise I'd have joined them.
