Hot day. Spent an hour in the morning sorting out photos and web page, then sat on Prom Deck with Barb. Lots of sea birds flying round the ship. I also managed to sneak in a cheeky visit to the laundrette.
Clocks went forward another hour at noon, making us GMT -5. This meant a rushed lunch as BoS was at 13:30. The men narrowly lost again. At his noon announcement, the Captain gave us the projected timings for the Panama Canal tomorrow. We should start our entry around 06:30. If you're interested you can see the ship's webcam on www.pocruises.com or there are webcams on the canal too. The UK is 6 hours ahead of us.
I won another gold sticker. At deck quoits! It was extremely hot up on deck 13. Just after the game, whilst we were having a cuppa, we saw some dolphins. The sea birds (boobies, apparently) are amazing to watch, they skim just above the waves and never seem to get hit by any. There are always at least two or three flying in front of the ship.
Formal night tonight and the boys wore white. There was also another Round the World drinks party in Carmen's, so we didn't provide any wine for the table, as we swiped a glass each at the shindig!
We lost the pub quiz by one point and didn't bother with the Syndicate.
