The first of 10 sea days. It will be interesting to see how it pans out, the longest number I've done before is 5. Linda is now using a wheelchair and a stick. It's nice to see her up and about again.
As it's the first day of a new sector, all the menus revert back to the beginning. In the main dining room at lunch, that means dressed crab salad on the lighter options section. Oh yes. Mind you I then blew it by having treacle pudding and custard for dessert.
On changeover days, it's not just passengers that leave and arrive, staff do too. We had 453 passenger changes and lots of the waiters and other crew swapped too. We lost two of the entertainment staff and gained two more. One of whom, Mikey, comes from Milton Keynes.
Men are 15 points down on day one of BoS. That's really 1 1/2 points as they give 10 for a win and 5 for a steal. Coral and James, who are this leg's hosts, seem to be clamping down on banter, which is half the fun. If they continue to do so I'll not bother going for this leg.
Lost in second round of quoits to 'The Robot' and her partner for the competition. Coolish and vaguely damp this afternoon, so crosswords and a book in Anderson's. Gold sticker number eight in the bag (well, on the card), from the Individual Quiz. I scored 19/20.
We lost by a point in the Classic Movies Quiz, which we thought we wouldn't do well in, especially as it wasn't just the films, but directors and stars too. Lost by even more in Syndicate.
