Having had enough of Bolivian buses I decided to fly back to BsAs. However, I still had problems - I don`t think Bolivian transport and I go hand in hand! Although I was prepared for a long journey - ie three planes and about twelve hours I wasn`t prepared to be searched! Every time I handed my passport and visa over airport staff for some reason or another looked at me strangely. At Cochabamba airport a police/army officer pulled me aside. What followed was this woman asking where had I entered the country, where had I been, what had I been doing, but the worst part was her feeling my stomach for bags of cocaine! Maybe I shouldn`t have gone to the Coca museum in La Paz afterall! Bolivia was certainly an experience, but I am very pleased to be back in Buenos Aires where I think I`ll stay for a week before I go to Rosario. Lucy.x
