Hi!

Rachel and I started learning Spanish at the University of Buenos Aires today. Unfortunately our class is 1-4pm, which makes site seeing that bit more difficult, but not impossible! After uni we had a look around the area, which is Barrio Norte and Once. It's a busy traditional area with a good local feel to it! We went to Carlos Gardel's museum and Mercado de Abasto. The Abasto is a beautiful building, which is now a shopping mall and a childrens' museum. It was a world away from the streets nearby, which were all traditionally painted. In the evening myself, Polly, Rachel, Jen, Emma and two of Emma's friends went for a meal at Navegando and then drinks at Bar Unico. Unico had a great atmosphere and we chatted to people from England, Ireland, Australia...the list is endless!
