After hearing so much from Siobhann about how magical Salta is I am pleased to say that I completely agree! The city is full of beautiful architecture, especially the Cathedral, the Iglesia San Francisco and the Convento de San Bernardo. On our first day we took a cable car to the top of a mountain, which allowed us to have a lovely view over the city. The days were warm and sunny, which made a nice change, so a lot of our time was spent relaxing around the General Guemes Monument and Plaza 9 de Julio. Lucy.x
