Hi!

As Shane was only here for one day before going to see Lucy in the North Polly and I wanted to make the most of having him around! Shane's family friend, Nora Patrich, an artist, is living in BsAs at the moment so we went to meet her and see her work. It was really interesting to talk to her, as she lived here before the Dirty War, was exiled during it, and now lives between Vancouver, Canada and BsAs. She is a very well travelled and cultured person, and she gave us lots of advice on what else to see in Argentina. We were able to see both her's and her husband's artwork in their studio, which was more insightful than seeing their latest collection on exhibition because you could see how their work had changed over the years and she explained some of the reasons for the change in style, colours etc. After having lunch with her and her friend it was time to say goodbye to Shane, but hopefully we'll see him again when we start travelling on 30 May! Then it was time to say another goodbye - this time to Steph! Steph's time to return to England had come - can't believe she had been here for two months! Time flies when you're having fun, and one thing is for sure you could always have fun with Steph! In fact she probably spent more time at the ever-social smoking and drinking table or out than she did in bed! Going to miss Steph - although won't miss her smoker's cough! Ha ha!
