Hi!

Uni organised a cultural excursion for us today! We went to La Boca. La Boca is a traditional working-class barrio (neighbourhood) in Buenos Aires. We went to the Museo De Bellas Artes De La Boca. The views from the roof of the museum were amazing! Obviously the sight of the Bombonera was the best! The Bombonera is Boca Juniors' football stadium. We will hopefuly be going to see a match later this month! Woo hoo! However, the thing that La Boca is most famous for is the brightly coloured houses on calle Caminito! All the different colours help give the barrio a great atmosphere! Our visit only lasted a couple of hours, but I hope to spend longer there when I go to watch Boca Juniors play. This evening Polly and I went to Bio, a vegetarian restaurant...yes not everyone in Argentina is a total carnivore...just the majority! After Bio we came back to the hostel in a futile attempt to go to bed at a reasonable hour! My reasonable hour was 4.30am and Polly's 5.30am! Buenos Aires is going to be the death of me, but I love it!
