I can't believe it but my time here is coming to an end.
On Thursday we had the farewell party as officially all the International Volunteers attached to my project are finishing. Due to UNICEF and the EU withholding funding - political reasons - they are still not 100% sure the project will continue, they do expect it to but there will be fewer volunteers. This means we are all going and only 5 of the present international volunteers will be returning when the project continues.
The party was in a sky bar overlooking the city - very nice venue and the food was well presented. However the next night Marcel, Bunthorn, Sokyou and I went to a street cafe for a private farewell party - sat on plastic chairs and ate the most delicious fish. In Cambodia, when it come to food, Good quality is not reflected in the price.
Both venues offered BBQ food and both had fish as well as beef, chicken and lamb. The sky bar was expensive and bland - the street cafe was the opposite. Also beer - 5$ in the first -1$ in the second!!
However both parties were great fun and I will miss these guys so much!!

Chris Hi Liz, I’m not sure if commiserations or congratulations are in order, but it always soundedlike it’s been a wonderful experience. If your heading to the UK be prepared for a snowy landing.
