I am in PP for a course and decided that my hair needed a cut. Nancy had dyed it at the weekend and I felt it was time for a visit to the hairdresser. I decided to splash out and have a shampoo as well. Believe it or not that is an experience that everyone should enjoy at some time in their lives.
Stage One - The Cut: My hair was sprayed with water by a handsome young man and it was cut, very short. I don't think it has ever been shorter - he even thinned it out!! Ahh I thought I will have no hair left.
Stage Two - The Shampoo: I was asked to lie down on a bed with my head over a sink, a lovely young girl then washed my hair.
Stage Three - The Face Wash: My face was then covered with a face scrub, she washed that off and then it was washed with soap. My face was then sprayed with water. (All done without getting my blouse wet)
Stage Four - The Massage: My head, face, hands and arms were then massaged - it was enough to send me to sleep.
Stage Five - The Conditioner: My head was then massaged again as she put on the conditioner.
Stage Six - The Massage: I was invited back to the chair where she gave my shoulders and back a massage - I have to say by now I didn't care what my hair looked like!!
Stage Seven - Blow Dry: Same as in England
How much did this cost me? 7 dollars- 3 for the cut and 4 for the shampoo - worth every cent.
Oh by the way I think I like it, just have to get used to it being so short. As soon as I have a picture of myself I will post it.

Chris & Rog Did you really have your face washed in soup, what flavour? All sounds very exotic. Look forward to seeing the shorn you.
Liz Pleased to see you read it properly- it now says soap.
