Last month we did a series of training sessions with the POE on School Development Planning .

We are now visiting schools to ensure the training was understood and that the School Directors are using the new format.

I am really pleased to say that if all schools in the district are like the two we visited this morning then the answer is yes to both. The SDs were more than happy to talk away to Bunthorn about what they were doing - or going to do. The deadline is in December so we are yet to see a SDP in the new format.

The best thing we heard was that not only were the POE involved but the DOE (district) had supported the work by telling the schools which areas they wanted linked to district plan.

Well worth the 50km ride on Marc.
