This morning, we were excited to go on the Rio Tinto Mine Tour. We arrived at the Visitor Information Centre with our closed in shoes, and there were 47 people in the group. 2 days ago, they still needed numbers in order for the tour to run - people sure came out of nowhere! What a great day today! We headed to the western side of the National Park to see the various gorges over that side, and started with a couple of lookouts. The Joffre Lookout gave us a spectacular view of a curved waterfall - there was quite a long track around the gorge and then down, but we skipped it and moved on the Knox Lookout.
