Mum & Eamon woke up at 6.45 for their appointment at the hairdresser! They sat out in the open - mum with colour in her hair, and Eamon having a haircut. We spent the morning cleaning up around the van, waiting to hear from Hoppy's about when the car was finished. Thankfully, the car was done by 11am, earlier than expected, so Dad rode the bike up to get it, while Mum, Renee & Eamon packed up the van. Mum took back the hire car, and we were on the road by 12.30pm on the way to Monkey Mia - it's over 350km so we were happy the repair went as planned, and to be leaving with a chance of getting to our destination before dark.

On the way, we stopped for lunch at Wooramel Roadhouse. Lots of goats enroute, also a horse - a very flat landscape. We stopped for a quick toilet stop and there's grease under the car, but not a major catastrophe. We arrived at the beautiful Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort around 5.30, so at least it was daylight. We got a pleasant surprise too, with the Hargreaves and Prelc families managing to get a spot in the overflow section. While unhooking, we had a surprise emu ran through park within a couple of metres of Renee, so that was a fun welcome for her! We spent the evening with the other families and the kids watched a movie.
