A bright and very breezy morning enticed the runners out onto the coastal footpath. The climb up Brea Hill was rewarded by stunning 360 degree views and a few Strava segments accomplished! The wind helped us run back where we met Dave and Barb on a walk. Tim and Phillipa headed off home. Another big breakfast was a reward for the runners.
The afternoon activity was beer tasting at The Doom Bar Brewery and shopping in Wadebridge for some of the ladies . Elly decided to join the "boys". A successful trip for all, returning with shoes, fudge and more beer to take home. Beth had made a tea loaf which got demolished very quickly and after tea and cake we headed out to the coast to be nearly blown over. The wind had become really ferocious, making the sea spectacular, but no swimming or surfing tonight.
Simon and Elly were cooks of the day with spaghetti bolognaise and another rhubarb crumble.
Finishing the puzzle this week was another challenge, so needed a concerted effort this evening, but the "sky" still remained a last day project.
