 LeJoG Blog June 8th: Day 7 In the pub in Slaidburn after a really tough 63 miles.HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAHAM!!Navigating through Warrington, Leigh, Bolton and Blackburn was a real trial and we took several wrong turns. Reckon it cost us about 2 hours as you just can't get any rhythm, it's all stop start with traffic lights, roadworks, roundabouts etc. Nothing to see really except the Wainwright Bridge in Blackburn. Clitheroe was nice but the climb out to Waddington Fell was absolutely unbelievable at the end of a hard day. Not the best way to finish, but a real sense of achievement.Slaidburn is like a village out of the 19th century. All cobbles and ancient houses. Lovely.SH & GLG
