Last night we bush camped at the old Victoria river crossing. Nice spot on the rocky river bed, kids played hunters and gathers and collected all different types of rocks. Arriving in Lake Argyle we couldn't wait to have a dip in the infinity pool, so it was a quick set up, togs on then we all hit the pool. It was lovely with gorgeous views over the lake, I could see why it was a draw card for the 'resort'. Thursday we did a day trip back to home valley, I still wasn't feeling flash so it was nice to have an easy day. We started packing up early this morning to avoid the heat. After cooling of with the luke warm showers we were nice and comfy in the a/c and on the road again! It was a scenic drive south onto the Great Northern Highway. Lots of Boab trees scattered along rocky cliffs. Kids had a bit of a rest in the car, Caleb really needs to catch up on his school work but it is still a battle to get him to do it. I can see us working crazily in the last week finishing it all...
