It's my birthday today so a very happy 44th birthday to me. We had a lie in and Jay made me a lovely birthday breakfast. We decided that today was going to be a chill day and as the site at Arthur River was quirky and quiet and rustic we agreed to stay here. This was as long as there was room tonight! I went off to reception to tell the owner of our intention. I rang the number and announced that we'd like to stay another night. The line went momentarily silent and again I'm sure that there was a large intake of breath. He said that he'd be down in two minutes. He appeared presently sporting the black bag and beer belly again. He was in a very cheerful mood this morning. He told me that he was going out to Town and wouldn't be back all day. He agreed that we could stay and took the $30. He then told me that everyone was checking out today and that as he would be out no one else would be able to stay. He announced that we would have the place to ourselves. He packed up his black bag and just as he was going said to me 'look after the place for me, you're in charge'! Wow this was great we were camp site owners for the day. This was brilliant we could have utter peace and quiet for my birthday without annoying people to get on our nerves. No Germans slopping about, no Japanese distressing the wildlife, no inconsiderate *******s playing their music and TV too loud, this was bliss. If anyone rocked up we'd tell them we were shut! We spent the rest of the day relaxing and we had a lovely birthday tea later on. It was a nice cosy, snug day too as the weather had turned today and was quite chilly. We snugged up in our fleeces and laughed the day away.

Please avoid products containing Aspartame as it is by far the most dangerous substance on the market that is added to foods and drinks. It can cause many health problems including fits and brain tumours. Aspartame is a poison and is addictive. Until about a year ago I was most definitely addicted to Diet Coke. This must have been due to the Aspartame. I found it hard to kick this habit but I did eventually with a lot of will power. I have not touched Aspartame since and will never do so again.
