Happiness Is The Road
We had one more night booked at this caravan park. We had originally intended to go back into Brisbane for a second day but due to the extortionate cost of their public transport and the fact that we'd seen everything we'd wanted to we had a rethink. We needed to book our flights out of Australia and decided to go to a Flight Centre and find out about the cost etc. There was a Flight Centre in the Westfield Garden City Shopping Centre which was only about 2 kilometres away. After a very leisurely breakfast we drove down there. The girl we saw at Flight Centre, Dana, was extremely helpful and went through all our options. We are heading to New Zealand in October when my Australian visa expires. We got some prices and Dana also said that she'd be able to get us a good price for the camper van that we will need to hire in New Zealand. We made an appointment to go back and see her at 10am tomorrow. We then went and had a coffee and discussed our travel plans and what to do. We have an option of flying back through the USA but we're not sure if we want to go to America as the place is full of weird people and run by a terrorist. The land of the free, I don't think so! After coffee we had a mooch around the shops and did some food shopping at Coles. We then headed back to the caravan park and got stuck in a traffic jam. Brisbane seems to be a really busy place. We just chilled for the rest of the day. We were both looking forward to leaving Brissy tomorrow.
