We decided to linga a bit longa at Wonga and stayed another day here. It is lovely and quiet here and with the incredible sea view that we've got we couldn't resist staying here longer. It was so relaxing here just chilling out and watching/listening to the ocean. The sound of waves breaking is such a wonderful sound. We had brekky, chilled, did some laundry, chilled, had lunch, chilled, had tea, chilled and went to bed. It was a brilliant relaxing day.

When we woke up this morning we knew that something was different. We couldn't hear rain on the roof. There was some blue in the sky today and we could see the sun for the first time in what felt like ages. Whilst we were having brekky the guy from the camp site told us that there was a partial solar eclipse today across the Cape York area. We asked when it was happening and he said now!
