Weld the sign, interview and awesome bonfire
Max and I had to take the sign into town to have a local man weld it as I could not weld the sign here. I wrapped it up the best I could in blankets so the paint would not get scratched.
That would be the least of my worries as I would soon find out, the man doing the welding was a super nice guy but I had to be on his ass to make sure he wouldn't put sparks all over the paint and ruin it, even if that meant catching the blanket on fire!
I realized I would have to do a lot of touchups so the better I could protect it the less I would have to fix. In the end it was all good and the guy did a great job but there was many touchups to make.
So the man who was supposed to come yesterday to do the interview came while we were welding the sign, of course!
But he said he would return in a few hours which he did and Max and I completed our interviews which didn't take too long. I also sent him quite a few photos to use in the magazine as well.
Later that night we had a fire which lasted about 10 minutes or less, Ecuadorian quick burn.
