Funny hospital!
There were a few funny things about this hospital, but the one biggest thing that stands out is that around five or six in the morning to nurses barged into my room flipped on the light kicked me out of the bed, change my bed sheets and took my blood pressure!?!?!?I still don't know why they changed my bedsheets but I know the reading may got of my blood pressure was definitely not accurate because I was jolted out of bed wondering what the heck going on..... Hilarious.....
After-the-fact. The night before I had asked for fresh bandage on my head because it was using pass so I thought maybe they were coming to change that but I was wrong..... Haha
Also, the head doctor seem to be doing the rounds with the interns and stopped by my room spoke something in Spanish for a few minutes and then proceeded to rip the bandage off my face to show my stitches, of course without wearing a glove or washing his hands first!!!
I told them I wanted to leave by 11am so I needed to have an x-ray and my bandages changed!
Was just say the bandage had been on for 24 hours so it was not so nice to take off! I found out it was free healthcare in Ecuador so this explained a lot. They took an x-ray and told me to wear a neck brace for two weeks and come back for another x-ray.....
Yay!
Back at the house the rest of the day was spent doing nothing as you can imagine.
