Hello my old friend....... a.k.a. head injuries..... :(
After we experience the same generosity from the people at the Sunday market is the week before, we threw the food in the back of the truck and Max and I jumped in the back also. About 100 m later..........
I got sucker punched out of the back of a moving pickup truck by a metal tent in the middle of the street while trying to put my phone in my pocket.......!?!?!? Lucky for me my head broke my fall!!!
I would say about 95% of my injuries from this incident were all on my head..... Including a major slice under my left eye needing 5 stitches. I'm just very lucky I never caught that bar in the teeth!
They took me to the hospital over in Vilcabamba where they stitched me up and the doctor told me to stay the night so I did. Laura and Max returned a couple hours later drop me off my iPad and guitar which was super nice. Lying in that hospital bed I just couldn't help thinking over and over how thankful I was not to be paralyzed.
