Island boat tour I figured I had better do some sort of tour well in Granada, so I signed up for an island boat tour. It was a great sunny day for it and they took you to their own private island, where we swam and went kayaking. Granada walkabout #2 I walked along the lake for most the day, found a nice little beachside restaurant for a bite and a beer. While I was sitting there I saw a group of people making cheesy Spanish music video! It was quite amusing to watch. Later that night I was out having dinner and I bought a hammock from a nice old man and tried to chat in Spanish for a little while.

Hot humid Leon... Bye bye Benny!!! Leon was the hottest most humid city I've ever been in in my life! Just downright uncomfortable all the time! Ben decided to do some volcano hikes and I decided to head south to Granada so we went out for some beers, met some locals and partied a bit with them! it was a very interesting night.......

Somoto gorge Crossing the border from Honduras into Nicaragua was pretty painless, just time-consuming. I bet it almost took 20 minutes just for two of us??? After the bus to the border it was two more buses and we arrived in Somoto! We made it there by about 10:30, found a nice local family with a hotel and great restaurant who offered us a guided tour of the gorge so we accepted.
