Crossed our first boarder today - It's 'Caithness no more' and into Sutherland! Another good day's running today. We actually ended up running 31.78 miles, because we chose to run to the campsite. Means we only have to run just over 28 miles tomorrow! We'll see.... Today's time was 5.47 for 31.78miles. Off to a brilliant start. The rain stopped 20 minutes before we stepped out of the van. Unknown to me, John had been in touch with a local running club. The wonderful Alison Smith not only encouraged two of her friends, Jimmy and Sandy, to join her to see us off, but also arranged for Peter Dymond (the sign man) to arrive early enough for us to get away as close to 9.00 as possible. 2... very early start this morning. Up at 5.am and on our way by 6.15am. We chose an early start so that we could get through Central London easily and it worked. Greg did a great job of getting us to the M1. We enjoyed a remarkably good journey up here with no hold-ups, arriving at our stop over just before 6pm.
