Hi everyone! Nothing too exciting to report really.. Last night I went out to dinner with Tav and James B to Brick Lane. I hadn't been to the area before but its basically a street (and side streets of it) in East London where all the Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants are. We went to some random one where we got 25% and a free round of drinks, which is pretty standard apparently. They stand out on the street soliciting you to come into the restaurant, tee hee funny. The one we were in had 3 tables including us and the other 2 were also australian, typical! So we had a nice meal, just chatting etc, and ate to much, as usual for Indian really. Oh and FYI, Tav and James knew each other when they were kids but James hadn't seen Tav since he arrived so that was why I got him to come along. We went to some random bar in the area for a drink later as well but didn't have a late one. I was quite tired as I had been nannying all day and had worked the night before at the bar. All geared up for a big weekend here, I'm working friday, saturday and sunday night (on my birthday dammit) but its a bank holiday monday so thats why. But if the weather's nice then it should be busy. The last week has been totally crap weather, last night it was absolutely pouring down, ridiculous! But today it had cleared up a bit so hopefully it will be ok this weekend. I'm only working 8 til 11 on sunday night on my birthday which isn't too bad and everyone has basically said they're going to get me drunk - so I probably won't be a very good waitress that night! I think we might also go out after work to club they have in mind... And then on monday I'm off to Provence with Laura and the children for a week. I've been checking up on the weather and it should be about 25, which is really warm in London terms - ridiculous I know. Anyway have to go to bed, its 2:35am now (finished work an hour ago) and I'm working for Laura in the morning, lots of love xx
