Hi! STA website tells you to enter an activity for the journal entry so I put 'shopping' cos I bought a coffee today! doesn't really count tho! Today I worked for 7 hours for Laura from 11 til 6. Lovely day really, Louis had a friend over so I just made them lunch, cleaned up, took them to the garden, organised the pantry, made tuna mornay for dinner and cleaned up! So a lovely day spent nannying. Also had my first experience of baby vomit... Grace vomited a bit of milk up on my cardy, but i'm used to it already. I also had an interview today at a bar about 2 seconds (literally) from Laura's on Kensington Park Rd. That went really well, it was for floor staff, so waitressing for food and drinks etc. The guy is gonna get back to me in the next couple of days because he needs to sort out when he needs staff etc. The only problem will be the nannying hours, because he wants full time people, which is 5 nights a week from 3pm til about 1am. Part-time would really be better for me cos then i could work all-day on the weekends - as they are open for brunch - and then about 2 or 3 nights a week. Anyway, if not, the pub I went to on Saturday night needed waitresses and that is in Shepherds Bush and really lovely, so I can always look there... Saturday night was great, went to the Covent garden comedy club with becky, her friend Fran and her brother James, and then went to the pub in Shepherds Bush for a little while. I didn't go to the Henley races on Sunday as I had a cold Saturday night and didn't want to be sick for today. Anyway, will let you all know how the bar job goes. xx
