The Howlett's Travels
Found a great station stay for tonight's camp as we continue our journey south. Banka Banka station is along the Stuart Highway about 150km south of Elliot. Here we set up camp just after lunch and enjoyed a walk to the lookout and wandering around the homestead and checking out the various old relics, including old farm equipment, ruined cars various sculptures. Tully made friends with the spider and was also excited to meet Don, the donkey calf. We were equally excited by the abundance of natural spring water. Perfect to fill the tank and wash the car! Baked a cake to celebrate 100 days on the road. Can't believe it's been so long! Big achievement.
