So the weather didnt brightened up! Most of the week there were blankets of thick cloud and lashings of rain showers which prettying covered all the east coast. We stayed in on Tuesday and had a joggy bottom day, Wednesday we went for a fairly long walk from coolangatta, Rainbow bay to Kirra in between the rain showers.
Dean made cookies which were nice and warm out the oven, he also said his friend who's travelling Europe at the moment is in Guernsey at the moment! Small world!
Thurs it had rained all night and all day so as all our planned activity are outdoors we retreated and sat and watched Harry Potter with the kettle going numerous times.
Yesterday we had to get out so we went and got petrol and a bag of Australian chocolate goodies before going and siting at the lake at South Tweed, a different part to where were staying. We sat for a good hour, the sun decided to come out and we lazily watched lizards, and water dragons by the lake while big pelicans gracefully swooped in laps above us.
Today we dropped the car back and met the cutest little 3 week year old puppy in the office, then went with Judy and Kristal back to Robina as Kristal had a birthday party and it was an excuse to accompany Judy for a coffee and chocolatey treat (again) at Max Brenners! We had a chilled evening, we took part in Earth Hour while looking after Kristal until Judy came home and we watched dirty dancing.
