The sun was shining on this beautiful Saturday in Greenville. My mother decided to head to the beach with the Silvers & Charlotte. My dad & I were firmly committed to our golf game with the Taylor's.
Alan & I grabbed breakfast in Popeyes chicken restaurant. The spicy chicken mixed well with the honey sauce they provided.
Randy & Cameron have their own golf cart at Ayden golf club. In true American fashion it does have its own sound system built in. These fine golfers who have graced the old course itself, did not lower the tone by pumping out the music.
I played well on the front nine but dramatically collapsed on the back nine . Today however would not be defined by the golf, though good golf was played by all throughout the round. It will be remembered as a perfect golfing day weather wise spent in great company. After the round we grabbed drinks in the clubhouse & ate the closest American version of pork scratchings. A good try but if don't have hairs in it, & break ur teethe, it's not a pork scratching.
Presto changeo & we were at Texas Roadhouse where I had eaten with the Taylor's last summer. On this occasion we opted not to choose our own steaks as the restaurant was so busy.
Alongside my dinner & had 'The Duke' a 22oz beer & a frozen margarita kicker. A standard margarita with a test tube of tequila for u to shoot, or drop in ur drink. Cameron knew one of the waitresses who was line dancing next to out table. I'm still not sure who was more embarrassed. But she did a very good job of staying in step while talking to Cameron.
After dinner Alan & I grabbed a night cap at the Ale house, before walking most of the way back to the hotel, before the Jeep caught us up.
