After having looked at the weather forecast we decided to play golf early teeing off at 9:00am. The temperature had dropped quite a bit compared to yesterday and jackets were needed. We played at a very good course called Ironwood. It was a good challenge with narrow holes and quick greens.
We got round quickly just the three of us and grabbed some lunch in the clubhouse after the round.
The intention for the rest of the day was to watch the Newcastle match. When I arrived at the bar that stated it was showing it, the manager did not have the channel. A few phone calls later the only bar that seemed to be able to show it, had it on delay at 17:00.
My dad Cameron and I went to a bar called BW Wings to pass the time until then. Cameron valiantly tried to eat a sharing platter to himself.
More misfortune when we arrived at Tie Breakers as despite the TV guide saying the match was on, all we got was the biography channel. Alan & I decided to grab some food. He shortly got collected by Ernest. Cameron and I were joined by his parents as we took part in the pub quiz and played a few games of pool before calling it a night.
