I drove Ellen's car to Richmond in order to get the Amtrak to rocky mount. The train was delayed by half an hour but Ellen stayed with me which helped pass the time.
On the train itself I was in business class & was seated next to a lady who was a Harvard Law school graduate. We chatted for the whole two hours plus of the journey which passed the time quickly.
Ernest had arrived to collect me, as we drove towards Greenville the clouds darkened & we passed through quite a rainstorm. We stopped off to see Randy Taylor at work before going to the Carolina Ale House for dinner.
As it was a Friday evening I felt it appropriate to try some local beers. Our server was very helpful in terms of selecting some choice ales. She was also amazed by the fact that I was from England visiting Greenville. With assistance from Ernest she did offer me to join her friends for a night out. However that did not start till she finished work at 3am. A little to late for me as I had had 6beers by 8 & could not see myself going back out again.
After dinner we headed home after a drive round Greenville. I gave Ryan & Sean a lesson in soccer on the Xbox before bed.
