After a long lie in we headed to IHOP ( international House of Pancakes) for brunch. The place was particularly busy so Ernest & Ryan had gone on ahead to secure a table.
When we arrived home I played soccer with Carly & Abbey using the garage as the goal. They both preferred being the goalkeeper than shooting. I feel this was down to being able to use their hands.
The next couple of hours was spent down at the city pool. I managed to stay out in the sun long enough before taking a short dip in the pool. The weather quickly changed & we headed out before the rain came down.
Randy had lent me use of his Jeep for the weekend. Sean & I collected this & went for a drive before dinner. It is a 2012 fun jeep that was great to drive.
Dinner was outside at the mellow mushroom, which unlike most American restaurants seemed to keep an close eye on incidentals. Everyone was given one napkin & any extras were charged. They had Newcastle brown on their drinks menu but had it listed as being from Edinburgh!
We went to the mall after dinner where Sean & Ryan stocked up on some new clothes.
Around 11:30 Ryan Sean & I took a drive downtown. The clubs were just starting. The strangest sight was people with boards & signs preaching the word of God.
