So here we are nearly 3 weeks into the travelling and what is it like? Well as most of the roads that we travel on are gravel our speed is usually a steady 35-40 mph. There are regular stops to admire the wildlife and try and take some photos, although sadly they have usually disappeared from view before we do. We are coated in a layer of dust and all the time there is a wind that swirls around and can be quite fierce. When we find campsites they vary from basic to actually having warm water. Prices range from 2/3 to 6/7 £ per person per night. As the weather has been so good we have been living outside most of the time, only retreating inside when the wind and the dust are too much to bear! Everything in the truck is covered in a fine layer of dust , but after a while you don't really notice! So, so far so good we are gradually heading south and the next stop will be to see the petrified forests inland , south of Comodoro Rivadavia.
