We have made it to Bogota. The journey was very long and slow . There has been torrential rain here and this has destroyed a lot of the main highways and made it difficult to get from one place to another, especially as we have been crossing the Andes.we are currently at 3000 metres and it is sunny and hot one minute and then pouring the next!!!!!! We crossed the border into Columbia on Monday and as usual joined lots of queues to get the paperwork done. At least this time the papers for the trucks were in the same buildings which makes a change as we have often had to travel quite a distance from the border post to sort things out.
