Another v. cold night. Dug out the HWB but found that it was cold when it was most needed ie. 4am! Biggest hassle was the bed sloped sideways which does not promote good sleep!

Headed off on the direct route to The Lynd - mostly good quality gravel. Road Trains (3/4 trailers) use the road - when one is about to pass it is wise to pull over & wait 5 min for the thick dust to settle. Continued on to Undara Volcanic NP & booked in for 2 nights. Booked half-day tour for tomorrow.

Highlight was a lovely hot shower after CG & PG!
