Here I am at Carnarvon Gorge. Arrived early afternoon after a quick start to the day. It came as a surprise to learn that there is no camping inside the NP so I retracked back to the Takarakka Bush Resort which is just outside the NP. TBR is a good facility located next to a magical place. Love my campsite which is just above (but not in) the Carnarvon Creek which I can hear babbling (when a loud woman in a caravan a little way over would shut up). Apostle birds are both cute & tame (need an iPhone with a signal to learn why they are named thus).

Have booked for 3 nights & 'cos there is no signal my blog will be updated later.

Highlight today was setting up camp for a prolonged stay.
