Bit of a cooler morning. Left Clermont-Ferrand to return to Lignac. Stopped for a little pastry at a small village - delicious! Large traffic jam near where we needed to turn off onto motorway so went via the backroads to St. Benoit to get some groceries before returning to John's to catch up with the washing. Rain has set in and temperature is only 18.

After a quick dinner it was off to the next village, Chaillac, for their fete and fireworks show. Very strange to hear a french band playing irish music - not too bad either. Fireworks were excellent and lasted a half hour. Looked really good reflected in the lake.
