A quiet day at home today. Nice sleep-in and luckily the day's hot enough to finish off the washing. Gave John a hand to re-hang his Chandalier then down to the local Tabac for lunch, but they're closed....quelle horreur! So off to the next village for a healthy salad instead, followed by an afternoon sunbathing and resting in John's backyard. Bit of a scorcher again. Decided to head down to the lake in Chaillac for dinner. Luckily we were first there as it got quite busy and there are only 3 staff, one of whom's the cook. Unfortunately they didn't have eftpos, so Ian had to take a quick drive to the money machine in St. Benoit.

John directed us home via another back-road and we got to see low flying bats, frogs hopping across the road and an owl.
