Leaving Toulouse. Hope to return for a closer look later. Just heading north without an end destination in mind after going to see the huge suspension bridge at Millau. Gigantic structure that looks completely alien in the landscape. Day started to cloud over the further we went into the hills, then the heavens opened and the temperature dropped rapidly. Cloud lowered right down to the road. Decided to head to Clermont-Ferrand for the night. Situated in a large basin and surrounded by volcanic peaks. Had some difficulty finding a room, but eventually managed to get one.
