Day 356 (Tuesday 25th November 08)

Our clothes still soaked and it still pouring still so nothing was drying. Had to check in for the boat at 7am so waited in the queue for the boat hoping that there wouldn't be any rain when we arrived in the North Island! Quite a rough day but not a bad crossing as it is such as big boat. A couple of good films on to watch which was good. Arrived in Wellington and it was blue sky and sun which we were really pleased about! Had a look around Wellington and found somewhere to park to go and have a look around. Getting hungry so wanted to find somewhere to park to hang the clothes out while we had something to eat. Drove up to see the viewpoint over Wellington and then to the Botanical Gardens to hang all the clothes on the car and have some more of our mussels. Yummy lunch and our clothes were drying well in the sun and strong winds! Drove on north out of Wellington through Hutt Valley. Through Woodville and Em starting to not feel great but assumed just over done it on the mussels! Ended up in Waipukurau to make a sandwich and do some study. Headed out once the sun had set to find somewhere for the night. Ended up in the middle of nowhere!
