Had deicious blueberries,raspberries and blackberries for breakfast. Alan and June have signed us up for intermediate horse lessons today (are they mad?) We decide to give it a go so at 11am we find ourselves mounting some more horses mine was a light brown boy called Uno. We walked down the trail to another paddock and altogether and then individually we walked around the paddock and then trotted! The wrangler then told us how to lope which Claire and John did very well but Nick and I decided to keep to the trot. We proudly walked back and I discovered my legs had forgotten how to walk properly on the ground! After lunch as if our morning lesson wasn't enough we all including Alan and June took part in team penning!
We were divided into three teams, Claire, John,Nick and I being in one one team. The wranglers then released some cattle into the paddock and we had to round them up as a team and get them into a pen. We then had to separate one cow and pen him and then separate the three red cattle and pen them! Each team was timed and the team with the shortest time won. We came second in front of ALan and June's team..........
As we were now completely ceased up we went to the spa pool and hot tub which was wonderful.
In the evening we went to a barby and listened to cowboy songs.
