We arrived at the station in Venice the required 1 hour early, and the earlier train was still sitting at the station, so we were able to change our ticket for the 8:32 instead. Hooray!! Had a great day today!! Took the water bus to S. Marco Square and wandered around the area during the morning. Had a great day today. Bought a 2 day water bus pass so went to the islands, as we planned. We first went to The Lido, the ritzy beach area. Caught a bus and then went for a walk to the beach.
