Rialto Bridge! Made it here again today, but this time we walked from our hotel via the many shops and eating and drinking establishments along the way. This walking is thirsty work, even in the cold and rain!!!

Heavens ..... Found an Irish Pub on our walk in the rain this morning. Perhaps like finding a church service nearby at 10am, it was all meant to be!!! Salute!! Xx

Had a lovely evening with a light meal at a restaurant on the Grande Canal, just up from our hotel. Enjoying the peace and quiet of our hotel outdoor restaurant bar area now with a couple of wee JDs and Bwian's cigar. A beautiful finish to our fantastic stay in Venice. Off cruisin' tomorrow on the Costa Magica - first stop - Bari in Italy. Buona notte! Xx

Happy tourists at San Marco!! It was wet, wet, wet ... and just a little chilly!!!

Here we are at the Bridge of Sighs, before the rain set in!! We went sightseeing today, including a walking tour around San Marco and also a tour on the canals. A bit disappointing for A and K, because on the canal tour, we couldn't see anything out of the boat for the fogged up windows!!! Lets hope the weather is a bit kinder tomorrow. There are still plenty of people around, and being Easter, some shops have been closed, but all of that considered, it's such a...
